It was a real trip to see 'Skyverse' as part of Midsumma Festival this year. Spotting the 'Ride with Pride' tram for the first time, driving down the freeway and seeing a huge billboard, finding a poster up at my local cafe… What a head spin! Of course, the best part though was celebrating with the community (especially the local community at Victoria Street Pride), attending lots of events, meeting heaps of new people, and being able to express myself and my identity in such a vibrant, warm, welcoming space. I will never forget this summer!
